‘As I opened Fire’ Triptych After Roy Lichtenstein
$2,000.00
Roy Lichtenstein was an American pop artist. His work defined the premise of pop art through parody. Inspired by the comic strip, Lichtenstein produced precise compositions that documented while they parodied, often in a tongue-in-cheek manner.
The original artwork was created in 1966, with this edition being printed prior to the artists death in 1997. Other editions state “Roy Lichtenstein 1923 – 1997”, which means they were printed posthumously, making them less valuable.
