Contratto Cappiello Oversize

Elegant, classic, and decedent are just a few words to describe Leonetto Cappiellos’ work. In this image, with the stark background, we see a whimsical figure holding an over-flowing champagne glass. Seemingly floating in space, the figures’ dress frozen in motion, her face smiling as she lifts the champagne glass above her head. This poster from 1930 is a true example of the Art Deco period, and the master himself, Cappiello. This poster has been linen backed for preservation.
