The 1958 ADAC 1000 Kilometer Rennen Nürburgring, held on June 1, 1958, was the fourth round of the FIA World Sports Car Championship. The race took place on the challenging Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit in West Germany, covering 44 laps totaling approximately 1,000 kilometers (623.6 miles) .
Stirling Moss and Jack Brabham won in an Aston Martin DBR1/300 after a fast, consistent drive. Despite Ferrari starting on pole, they and others like Porsche and Borgward faced setbacks. The tough course caused many retirements, but Aston Martin’s reliability and Moss’s skill secured victory.
