In celebration of the upcoming Andy Warhol and Ai Wei Wei exhibition at the NGV, we are excited to flaunt our Sunday B Morning Marilyns.
It is believed that “Sunday B Morning” was founded by friends and associates of Andy Warhol. Arguably the B stands for “Bloody” yet little is known about the group to verify. This series of Marilyns consists of 10 high quality hand silkscreened variations using exact reproductions of the silkscreens Warhol used for his series. Despite this series existing in the Catalogue Raisonné, it is important to note the difference between the Sunday B Morning series and the 1967 Factory Additions. The Sunday B Morning series were not authorised by the Warhol Foundation. Don’t be fooled into paying too much for these prints, we are currently selling them at $AU500 each.
